The Ark does not believe " one-size-fits-all". Each program has a unique mission containing up to four (4) sub-categories all contributing to the shared goal of ending communal impoverishment.

Uplifting Communities: Our mission is to bring reliable sustenance to inner-city communities through perpetual programs. The Ark works to rebuild trust between transient populations and municipalities through government-funded programs, fostering positive change together.

Food Distribution: Mission and Purpose

Our food distribution program's program mission is to end communal hunger as a whole. In order to do that, we address the needs of all age ranges and economic groups. We attack the root of the problem, adequate nutrition for proper bodily and brain function. The mission of the food distribution program is to provide inner-city communities with a perpetual sustenance program that is nutritious and reliable. We do this through Senior Hunger Diversion Programs , SNAP Application Assistance, Summer Meal Disbursements for Children , Daily Meal Distribution and Hot Meals on holidays.

Poverty Diversion: Mission and Purpose

If the problems starts at home then that's where we begin . The mission of the poverty diversion program is to keep singles and families indoors. We do this by offering various support programs to temporarily alleviate burdens associated with finance. The poverty diversion program offers assistance with rental deposits, first months rent, two-months of back-due rent, furniture donations, clothing , employment referrals, inclement weather items, weekly grocery deliveries and temporary transitional housing.

Crisis Response: Mission and Purpose

The mission of the crisis response program is to advance the continuity of domestic violence prevention activities and post COVID supportive services. Programmatic components consist of activities targeted toward adult and youth victims of crime as well as their dependents.

Street Outreach: Mission and Purpose

Knowledge is power but only useful in the hands of those that are able to apply it. The mission of the street outreach team is to support and educate those who do not have access to the resources they need to elevate their lifestyles. Each one , teach one. The street outreach team canvasses saturated areas of transient populations in order to disburse meals, hygiene kits, informational pamphlets, clothing for inclement weather, tents, and counsel one on one.

As a parent organization overseeing subsidiary programs, Ark Inc. has successfully managed a total of $715,000 in federally awarded funds dedicated to strengthening crisis-response and victim-support services across California and Nevada.

Our funding portfolio includes:

• $65,000 awarded in 2022 through American Rescue Plan VOCA funds, supporting emergency assistance and survivor stabilization services.

• $350,000 awarded in 2023–2024 under the XD Domestic Violence DOJ Funded Grant, enabling the expansion of cross-state mobile crisis teams and domestic-violence intervention programs.

• $300,000 awarded in 2023–2024 through the Underserved Victims Program (UV Program) VOCA funded grant, focused on serving immigrants, youth, and system-impacted or marginalized communities.

Across all awards, approximately 70% of the total budget was invested directly into operational expenses and direct services, including crisis transportation, emergency housing support, victim advocacy, mobile response units, food distribution, and trauma-informed stabilization services.
